Carrie Brown-Wolf grew up with a Lutheran family in the American Midwest. At age seventeen, she began a cross-cultural journey and lived with a large Muslim family in Tunisia. After studying politics and world religion at Colorado College, she worked for an international exchange company while traveling the world. Carrie married into a Jewish family, earned a Masters in International Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College in New York City, and launched her own multicultural education company.

She and husband Dan have three children, Ellie, Tye, and Olivia. They regularly participate in Soul Sunday activities and stress spiritual exploration and tolerance of others. The family lives in the mountains of Colorado, where Carrie continues to write about her personal and professional experiences in the multicultural field and provides seminars about Soul Sunday.
